Lazy Baby’s New Tricks

It is 8:31am and Hunter is still asleep.  Probably still exhausted from our weekend in Big Bear…  and, poor thing, we’re dragging her to San Diego for the rest of the week.

Anyway, the Lazy Baby has been up to some new tricks.  The first: she is trying to jump.  She’ll stand in one spot, throw her arms over her head, bend her knees, and lift one foot off the floor at a time, all while yelling, “I’m jumping, I’m jumping, yay!”  Hilarious.

Hunter is also trying to expand her song repertoire.  She has long been singing her own versions of “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star”, the “ABC Song”, “O Happy Day”, and a passable “Happy Birthday”.  But her current faves are “The Wheels on the Bus” (which she makes me sing over and over) and trying to sing along with the 10,000 Maniacs in the car.

I think I hear someone stirring upstairs…
