Magnus went swimming for the first time last Friday, 26 June 2009.
He wasn’t really into it because we were in the pool when he should have been eating his dinner. But he did kick his little feet as I moved him through the water. Of course, he kicks his little feet all the time anyway. Hmm.
Speaking of not really being into it… his Papa took the picture.
Jub in the Tub
There is one milestone Magnus has marked ahead of his sister: today he had his first x-rays. Six shots to be precise. Turns out a head x-ray is required to prove that the baby’s skull has yet to knit together before the hospital/insurance company/powers that be will sign off on a skull correcting helmet.
And guess what? Six-month-old babies don’t lay still for x-rays. Especially six-month-old babies whose mid-morning snack was interrupted to take said x-rays. Of course everyone just loves listening to a crying baby. I know I do.
Last night my husband told me that not everything he did was material for the blog.
Sad, because more often than not, I find him to be vastly entertaining.
Hunter does too.

Apparently Lou Dobbs can now be followed on Twitter.
I expect that sort of thing from douche bags like Wolf Blitzer or ACDB (yes, that’s redundant), but not Lou.
CNN must have made him do it. I think all the requisite Michael Jackson death coverage made Lou use some vacation time this week as well.
I just can’t imagine Lou a) wanting to be on Twitter or 2) wanting to talk about Michael Jackson’s death for days on end.
I don’t want to watch the news anymore.
Maybe I won’t.
